Jackson Summit Inc., trading as Jackson Summit ("Jackson Summit", "we", "us", "our"), is a Louisiana company operating out of Shreveport, Louisiana, with a registered business address in New Orleans. We recruit, interview, and hire candidates for our own open positions in sales and marketing. This policy explains what we collect from candidates and site visitors, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers https://www.jacksonsummitinc.com and the phone, email, and SMS communication our recruiting team sends.
Your use of this website is also governed by our Terms & Conditions.
Information We Collect
We collect information you give us directly, and a limited amount of technical information collected automatically when you visit this site.
Information you give us
- Name — your full name as entered on a form.
- Email address — used to reply to you and to send information about your application.
- Phone number — used to call or text you about your application, where you have consented.
- Mailing address — where you provide one, for example on an application or an offer of employment.
- Application and resume data — work history, education, skills, availability, references, and anything else you include in a resume or application.
- Form submissions — the interest category you select and the content of any message you write to us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, the pages you visit on this site, and the dates and times of those visits.
We do not sell products on this website, do not process payments here, and do not operate a subscription or software service. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not include it in a form or resume.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Evaluate your application for an open position.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, including confirmations and reminders.
- Contact you about the status of your application, by phone, email, or SMS.
- Respond to questions and general inquiries you send us.
- Operate, secure, and improve this website.
- Comply with our legal obligations, including employment and recordkeeping requirements.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making. A person reviews every application.
SMS Communications
Jackson Summit Inc. offers an optional SMS program for candidates. If you enroll, our recruiting team may send you text messages of the following types, and only these types:
- Interview scheduling, confirmations, and reminders
- Updates on the status of your application
- Replies to questions you send our recruiting team
How you opt in
Enrollment happens only when you affirmatively opt in. You do that by checking a clearly labeled SMS consent checkbox on a web form — the box is never pre-checked — or by giving us separate express written consent. We do not add anyone to the SMS program from a resume, a referral, a purchased list, or any other source.
No mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS consent data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This data will not be sold, rented, or disclosed to any third party for their own marketing use under any circumstances.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of employment consideration, of submitting an application, or of being interviewed.
Message frequency, rates, and help
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
- Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at contact@jacksonsummitinc.com.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message from us to stop all further messages. We will send one confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out, and after that you will receive no further texts. Opting out of SMS does not withdraw your application — we will continue to reach you by phone or email.
Delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Email Communications
You can unsubscribe from promotional email at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message, or by emailing us at contact@jacksonsummitinc.com.
Unsubscribing from promotional email does not stop transactional messages about an active application — interview details, status updates, and replies to what you sent us. Those are part of the hiring process and may still be sent. Once your application is closed, you can ask us to stop contacting you entirely.
Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We have never sold it and we do not rent or trade it.
SMS opt-in data, mobile phone numbers, and messaging consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We share personal information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers — vendors that host this site, deliver our email and SMS, or store applicant records, acting under a data processing agreement that limits them to performing services for us.
- Legal compliance — where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
- Internal staff and contractors — members of our recruiting and management team who need the information to evaluate your application.
- Business transfers — if the company is merged, acquired, or reorganized, in which case the successor remains bound by this policy.
Data Retention & Security
We keep applicant information for as long as we need it to evaluate your candidacy and to meet our legal recordkeeping obligations, and no longer. If you are hired, your application becomes part of your employment record. If you are not hired, we may retain your application so we can consider you for future openings — ask us to delete it and we will.
We protect your information with access controls, encryption in transit, and vendors selected for their security practices. Access is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by Louisiana and federal law.
Cookies & Tracking
This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand which pages people visit. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to build advertising profiles.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site may not work correctly if you do. We honor Global Privacy Control and other browser-level opt-out signals where they are sent.
Your Rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access — give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct — fix information that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete — erase your information, subject to records we are required to keep.
- Opt out — stop SMS, promotional email, or contact from us altogether.
- Port — receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Restrict — limit how we use your information while a request is being resolved.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@jacksonsummitinc.com with the request and the name and email address you used to apply. We will verify your identity, respond within 45 days, and tell you if we need more time. Exercising a right will never affect how we evaluate your application.
California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and why, the right to request deletion or correction, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes described in this policy. The categories we collect, the reasons we collect them, and the parties we disclose them to are listed in the sections above. To submit a request, or to submit one through an authorized agent, email contact@jacksonsummitinc.com. We will not charge you for it.
Age Restrictions
This website and our application process are intended for people 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us at contact@jacksonsummitinc.com.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information — including any change to our SMS program — we will notify you by email or SMS before it takes effect. Continued use of this website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
